Trump opens Election Day with a 12:52am Truth Social post about Abdul El-Sayed

Most polls were still hours from opening. The president’s thumbs were not. At 12:52am ET on Tuesday, Trump went after Michigan’s Democratic Senate candidate one more time, and this time he tried to cover every group at once.

“Abdul El-Sayed Hates Jews and Hates Blacks,” he wrote. “Don’t feel bad, he also Hates Whites.” Trump offered no evidence for any of it. El-Sayed, an outspoken critic of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, has faced accusations of antisemitism over those positions, and his campaign has rejected criticism of his views on Israel, Mediaite reports. Trump also promised El-Sayed “will, 100%, do you in!”

This is the same El-Sayed Trump has been on since late October: he’s told Black and Jewish voters who back El-Sayed that they’re “crazy,” and, at a Daytona Beach rally, claimed without evidence that El-Sayed doesn’t like Jewish people or Black people before telling fans in “Blacks for Trump” shirts to send him “back to where he came from.” El-Sayed was born in Michigan. The new post adds white people to the list, which is at least progress in the sense that a bigger net is progress.

By our count, that’s a full set of accusations and zero receipts.
