Donald Trump went to South Carolina on Thursday and handed out voting advice for Michigan.

In Rock Hill, after telling the crowd he won Michigan “by a lot,” Trump turned to Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Senate nominee there: “they have a guy running now who’s definitely Muslim Brotherhood.” His evidence: “He said he’s not, but, you know, check his mother, check his sister, check his notes.” Some of the things El-Sayed said, Trump said, “were horrible.”

Then the electorate: “If you’re Black, or if you’re Jewish, and if you vote for Abdul, you’re crazy, okay? You’re crazy.” A beat. “You’re crazy anyway.” He didn’t say who was crazy anyway. He started over (“But if you’re Black or Jewish and you vote, the things that this guy has said is…”) and never finished the sentence.

That’s four El-Sayed pages in the Donald Files this month: a “jihadist” in Iowa, a metal detector, “Abdul Ramadan” in Lubbock, and now a sorting of his voters by race and religion.
