Donald Trump was asked a simple question on 29 Oct: did dropping a planned Kansas rally have anything to do with being sick of all the travel? The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the 31 Oct rally in Salina was cancelled, and the Kansas GOP said he was shifting to tele-town halls.

Trump heard the word “sick” and ran with it. He asked who the reporter was with, heard Reuters, and said: “You are a sick guy. Reuters is terrible.” Then he turned to the room: “Look at this guy.” The reporter, he announced, is “way out of shape.”

As for the trip itself: “I don’t feel I have to go to Kansas.” Asked if he was feeling well, he said, “I feel perfect.” Then he went back to the reporter’s body: “You are disgusting. Put yourself in shape. You look like hell.”

So the president’s health is perfect, by his account, and the evidence is that a reporter looks bad.
