Trump on Obama: ‘Every piece of lettuce he eats has to be perfect’

Donald Trump’s medical file now comes with a side salad. At Tuesday’s rally in Corpus Christi, having declared the Gulf of America “about as good as a gulf is going to get,” he turned to “the great Doc Ronny,” Rep. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician who, Trump said, “presided over the lives of Barack Hussein Obama and Bush and Trump.”

Asked who was the healthiest of the three, Jackson answered, by Trump’s telling: “without question, the healthiest is President Donald J. Trump.” After the cheering came an add-on: “And a much better golfer.” Whether that line was the doctor’s or the patient’s, the tape doesn’t say. Trump signed off on it anyway: “that I will agree to.”

Then he offered the dietary evidence: “But, you know, because Obama, every piece of lettuce he eats has to be perfect. And I don’t, I’m not that choosy.” Healthiest president, better golfer, least fussy about leafy greens. That’s the most detailed medical report this White House has given out.
