Donald Trump’s golf course casualty list keeps growing, at least in the telling.
His Wednesday night Truth Social post said golf balls at East Potomac “hit unexpecting Golfers” and described exactly one: “a White House staffer who was, sadly, hit violently in the chest.” He held Judge Ana C. Reyes “fully responsible” for anyone “hurt, or killed.”
Back at Joint Base Andrews on Thursday evening, a reporter asked who was hit at the golf course. Trump: “Oh, many people.” He checked the reporter meant “the one over here,” then: “It’s very dangerous.” Also: “It’s a very obsolete course.” Then the plan: they’re going to “have something great for the country.” And: “We’ll have top tournaments here.”
Names, dates and injuries were not provided. Top tournaments, apparently, will be.
