Trump to Blacks for Trump: ‘How come there’s only two tonight?’

Donald Trump’s favorite part of the Ohio rally, by his own description: two men in the crowd.

Halfway through a poll-numbers brag in Chillicothe on Wednesday, Trump broke off. “My favorite,” he said, and asked “you two guys” to “stand up, please.” Then the introduction: “Everyone thinks they’re my best friends.” The two men, he told the crowd, were Blacks for Trump.

He kept going. “I love you guys. I don’t know who the hell they are.” It’s “not a game,” he insisted, and “they have a whole group.” Then, having just told the crowd it’s a whole group, he did the count himself: “Say hello to all your friends. How come there’s only two tonight?”

They got a “Thank you, man” and a “Big progress, big progress.” Then he moved on to the Front Row Joes, who he says have been to “like 800” rallies. He didn’t ask them where everyone else was.
