Trump says wives “love their husband again” thanks to their 401(k)s

Donald Trump has added couples therapy to the résumé. In Rock Hill, South Carolina, he told voters to look at their 401(k) before they vote and promised: “you’ll see it’s up numbers if it’s your wife looking at it.”

“I’ve had wives tell me that they love their husband again,” he said. The husbands, in this account, are now “a great, great investor.” The return he quoted: “He’s up 67%.” The credit he claimed: “That’s me that did it.”

The 67% is his number, with no account, no time frame and no wife named. The love is also his claim. The marriages remain unaudited.
