Trump says he’ll finish the Iran war now that the White House is completed

Donald Trump has a to-do list, and the White House paint job was at the top of it.

In Chillicothe, Ohio, on Wednesday night, Trump walked the crowd through the renovation again: the new exterior lights, the “cracked and broken stone,” the “bad paint and filth all over the place.” Then he announced the result: “But it’s now all finished.”

Next on the list: “Now I just have to finish up, which I’ll do very quickly. The war with Iran, where they’ve gotten beaten very badly.” He’ll finish it, he said, “now that the White House is completed.” The war got “very quickly.” The light fixtures got a whole paragraph.

He went straight on to Venezuela, “a little war” that, he says, “we finished it in one day.” Iran is, in his words, a “bigger country.” The night before, in Lubbock, he said the Iran war would end when he wants it to. Now we know he was waiting on the lights.
